Age of Wonders IIII worked on Age of Wonders III as a design intern during the final months before release. In this period I finalised the design of certain gameplay mechanics and user interface elements and ensured proper implementation. I also created the closed-beta version of the stand-alone scenario 'Return of the Ancients'. This map went on to be one of the stand-alone scenarios that shipped with the game.

2 Puzzled 2 Solve2 Puzzled 2 Solve is a Metroidvania game with a unique twist: the player controls both their character and the world they move through. The player needs to navigate through levels from point A to B by jumping around in platforming mode and shifting and rotating the level as a sliding puzzle in puzzle mode. All levels are connected with each other through an overworld where players can unlock new levels and progress through the game by collecting items and learning new things about the game mechanics. The game also has an accessible and easy to use level editor which has been designed so that players can immediately jump in and start to create their own levels.

Fairy Tale PrototypeFairy Tale is a prototype of a role-playing game featuring both dungeon and random encounter combat gameplay. The main focus of the prototype is its combat system which is inspired by Final Fantasy's Active Time Battle system but takes it one step further. I build the prototype in collaboration with a programmer in order to simulate a studio environment where a small team would be working on developing an early prototype.

PurgatoryPurgatory is a 4 player co-op Hero Defense game in which players take control of a hero in order to battle hordes of enemies in order to defend their base. Inspired by the Tower Defense genre and games such as DOTA, League of Legends, and Diablo, Purgatory is a game where up to 4 players can fight cooperatively against large AI armies. Each player has a unique set of abilites at their disposal to combat the forces of heaven. Death is able to fear its enemies, making them harmless in combat, while Conquest can take over enemy minions. Famine can use diseases to infect entire armies and War is able to incite a rebellion amongst heaven’s ranks, causing them to fight each other.
