My name is Jesse Pieter Ravensbergen. I am a game designer with experience on Triumph studios' 4X strategy game Age of Wonders III, my own game 2 Puzzled 2 Solve, as well as a number of smaller projects. I have worked on games from paper prototype up to release, and have experience with documentation, UI design, QA, economy design, level design, game design, scripting, and writing.
As a designer I am particularly interested in the interactions between gameplay and narrative, and how this improves the player experience.
During 2013 - 2014 I worked on Age of Wonders III, my first high profile game with a worldwide release. In 2014 I also graduated cum laude in Game Design & Production at NHTV's International Game Architecture & Design programme in the Netherlands. From 2015 - 2017 I worked at GamePoint as a game producer responsible for their most successful games. I also fulfilled game design and data analysis roles, which included big data analysis as well as writing statistic simulations and game system behaviour in R. From 2018 - 2021 I worked at Nixxes Software as a Game Tester on an Marvel's Avengers. Right now I'm looking for the next step in my adventure. In the meantime I am working on my own book as well as some smaller hobby projects, aiming to make a career out of my passion projects.
What I enjoy most in game development is working with a diverse team of talented people from different backgrounds and disciplines in order to bring our shared dreams to life.
